  7. To install :

  9.   1    Unzip the archive
  10.  
  11.   2    Copy the files as follows :
  12.  
  13.         SERIAL.DCU    }  To a directory of your
  14.         SERIAL.DCR    }  choice
  15.  
  16.         SERIAL.KWF      To \DELPHI\HELP
  17.         SERIAL.HLP    To \DELPHI\BIN
  18.  
  19.   3    In Delphi, select Options|Install components
  20.  
  21.     Press Add
  22.  
  23.     Enter the path and filename for DELPHI.DCU or use the Browse button
  24.     to find it
  25.  
  26.     Select OK. Delphi will recompile the library.
  27.

  29.   4    To install the help keyword file, open the HelpInst program.
  30.  
  31.     Select File|Open and select \DELPHI\BIN\DELPHI.HDX
  32.  
  33.     Select Keywords|Add keyword file
  34.     
  35.     Select SERIAL.KWF
  36.  
  37.     Select File|Save
  38.  
  39.     Exit the program
